WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR MY BUSINESS?

We guarantee that Spectank® will reduce your operating costs & make the cleaning of cooking equipment less labour intensive, more convenient and far cleaner than before.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD SPECTANK® BE USED?

The Spectank® operates 24/7. While items in heavy use should be cleaned every day, other items such as gas rings and filters need only to be cleaned weekly. Based on your style of cooking, we will create a customer cleaning schedules during your Spectank® trial.

HOW FREQUENTLY DOES THE CARBSOLVE® SOLUTION NEED TO BE REPLACED?

CARBSOLVE®, our non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning agent, is designed to be reused daily for a month. One of our friendly, trained technicians will visit monthly to take care of the draining, cleaning and replacing of the solution.

HOW LONG MUST ITEMS SOAK IN THE SOLUTION?

Initial cleaning may require an overnight soak (or 48 hours for heavily carbonised items), but thereafter, some equipment will require 1 – 2 hours, while others will benefit from an overnight soak.

WILL THE SPECTANK® KILL BACTERIA?

As the Spectank® system runs at over 75°c all harmful bacteria are killed, so all items removed from the Spectank® will be sanitised.

HOW MUCH SPACE DOES SPECTANK® NEED?

Spectank® is available in a variety of sizes, so there's one to fit every size operation. We know space is often at a at a premium, but we have experience in finding convenient locations for a Spectank® in some of the tightest kitchens around.

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN?

The Spectank®solution is completely safe, using only non-toxic chemicals. However, due to heat and steam, it is recommended that you use PPE - heat-resistant gloves, safety goggles and aprons.

WHAT CANT I CLEAN IN THE SPECTANK®?

Most metal items, including aluminium, can be cleaned in the Spectank®, however it is not suitable for silver, tin-plated, Teflon or silicone coated, wood and thin plastic items.
